Summer 2011

Where has time gone? We haven't posted to the blog for a while. Summer went fast-visits to out-of-state families homes, and get-togethers with family here, along with the gardening and all that goes with summer. It was a great summer! The family is growing! To end the summer, we celebrated an 80th birthday party for Grandma Great at Curt and Carol's home. Cousin Jessie took some fun family pictures. Above is David and Acacia and little Evia. Below is our cute Grandma with some of her siblings-Claude, Phyllis, Bernice, and Don. Grandma looks great for 80!

Below is Liz and Rex and their tribe.

Nate and Catherine and their family.

Below is Grandpa and Grandma-still sweethearts!

Bry and Dan at Goblin Valley on the way to Lake Powell for a little fishing.

Evergreen Air and Space Museum a real cool stop outside Portland in Mcminville, home of the "Spruce Goose" the largest plane ever flown, and it was BIG!

Forth of July with Sarah Cordell and family at the church. Sour dough pancakes and lots of fun.

A hike with the Smith family. Who looks the most worn out?

Rock formations in Colorado. Mom and Brittany showing off some yummy bread bought at a Farmer's market in Denver.

Fun trip to Denver to see Chris Britt and Addyson. Spent the morning at a farmers market where Dad bought his favorite bread. That is one big loaf. Then took a day trip to Colorado Springs to see the Garden of the Gods. Lots of fun rock formations and nice trails.

Fall is upon us and the harvest is in! We look forward to the coming months and continue to thank our Heavenly Father for His numerous blessings.
